After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica nearly died after which she began a journey of healing. Angelica's entire life was altered after her dialysis for kidneys. Her mom would be the donor. Angelica as well as her mother, went through an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were situated right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston.
